This department is also the coordinator of the general commercial action of the mechanical activity of the SEEB Group.
Thus, within this framework, it has the power to delegate some tasks and entrust additional or complementary works to other companies of the Group whenever it is appropriate.
This is an added flexibility that stems from the group structure that we have adopted and it allows us to provide better, faster and more complete services to our clients.
In addition to a large range of traditional machine tools for its day-to-day turning, milling, grinding, boring, drilling and welding operations, the production department benefits from 25 machines with numerical control (CNC), large capacity vertical lathes and a "JOBS" flexible machining unit made up of two horizontal machining centers with a capacity of 3m X 2m X 1,25m.
At SEEB S.A., computer assisted design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and centralized management and preparation of the tools -of which SEEB S.A. was an early user- have long been associated with all production operations.
The whole of the production is governed by a constant concern for quality.
The quality control and metrology department employs eight people and benefits from its own separate 500m2 workshop.
Every specific tool and all the electronic instrumentation necessary to enable it to fully ensure its role has been made available to this department.
The equipment includes two ZEISS precision 3D measuring machines working in the optimum conditions that the controlled atmosphere of a dedicated 100m2 air-conditioned room provides.
That rule applies to each and every job.
